The End of The Road...
source: news..well, our first big(ish) UK tour with a set and people to help set-up and stuff.
We’re due onstage at Exeter in about an hour but I just wanted to say massive thanks (and my normal thanks are pretty big by all accounts so this is WHOPPING) for getting into the spirit of things; at first I think people were unsure of dressing up for our gigs but by the end people were looking daft if they WEREN’T in fancy clobber.
You’ve been amazing and this tour would have been a lot quieter and “rubbisher” if you’d not come out to play. We owe you one and we’ll replay you by way of seeing you again to pick up where we left off in October. What are you up to then? Oh, you’re free?! Then it’s a date.
We’re off to France tonight after this gig to play there tomorrow night. Then we’re bandying our sorry wares around europe for about three weeks. Busy as the busiest most bumblesome of bees, but we can’t wait.
We’ll of course be thinking of you all though! Can’t thank you enough for showing us the time of our lives.
Lots of love,
Irwin and HIS Hoosiers
