\nWe\‘re so chuffed and know we owe it to you good peeps here who discovered us first and foremost. Fast love your way soon.
\n
\nFinding ourselves at the Brits was a bit like Alph finding himself in a "Britain\‘s Sexiest Men" listings: "no idea how he got there". In a way it\‘s amazing and was one of those moments you always dream about when you\‘re in a band, but on the other you\‘re aware it\‘s only a certain amount of people who vote and others are industry fat-cats (I think. Is that right?!). Lives so competitive it\‘s a shame to make music the same as well as it being so subjective that it\‘s hard to gauge who\‘s better than another. Of course all this is simply to cover our own backs as we\‘re not overly hopeful of scooping the Best Single award as we\‘re up against pop-monsters Take That, Leona Lewis and
\n(Bertie\‘s) allsorts.
\n
\nWeird moment was being in the media cirucs where all these camera crews are waiting for you to ask your favourite band, album and brand of sock.
\nThey\‘re in this long line and Mark Ronson and Ricky Wilson were being ushered down the carpet in front of us. Just odd – like feeding time at the zoo, and the main course was fettered Hoosier.
\n
\nWhen the time ran out our "legal label guardian" would usher us along making the interviewer\‘s vexed. I felt sorry for these reporter\‘s; to
\nthink: "what happens to all their unanswered questions!?" Perhaps they go to Question Land and all live happily ever after. Or maybe it\‘s like Hell and they all shout their questions at each other, never learning or finding their answers … for all eternity!
\n
\nAt the end we bumped into Grimshaw who\‘d just interviewed us last night at Radio 1. He is nice. I am 7 years old and when I grow up I want to be just like him, except I will be a train driver.
\nHe was with Kelly Osbourne and they had an entourage which included at least 4 people, one of whom was a drag queen who said nothing: that, my friend, is a REAL entourage. We\‘d like one for next Christmas please.
\n
\nHope you\‘re amazing.
\n
\nThis blog is dedicated to Sarah-Louise of The Daily Star because she is sad and we\‘d like her to be happy again.
\n
\nLots of love and gum,
